Las Caletas truly feels like a hidden gem. The beautiful decorations throughout the hotel, from the vibrant artwork to the charming furniture, added a touch of elegance to our stay. The common areas were inviting and cozy, with plenty of comfortable seating that was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning views. As a senior woman, I particularly appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The staff made sure that there were no stairs or obstacles in the way, allowing me to easily navigate the premises without any worries.
If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be for the children working there to be a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A little more patience and assistance would have made the vacation even more enjoyable.

Caletas Lodge is a remote paradise with stunning views of the beach and nature. The variety of breakfast and dinner options was impressive, and I never had the same main dish during my week-long stay. The lodge had a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow guests during the three-course dinners. The accommodation options, especially the honeymoon suite, were comfortable, tidy, and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, always available when needed. a beautiful space to unwind and relax.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The seclusion of the "HONEYMOON SUITE" was like having our own private oasis, with a bedroom upstairs and a lounging area downstairs - it felt like a luxury treehouse retreat.
Room configuration not as expected.

The meals at the open-air dining room were absolutely delightful. Breakfast started with a refreshing plate of fresh fruits and cereals, followed by a mouthwatering second plate like french toast or omelette. Dinner began with a tasty soup or salad, followed by a delicious main course and dessert. The fusion of Costa Rican and European cooking techniques was a delightful surprise.
No air conditioning, but the fans in the rooms did a decent job of keeping us cool.

I had always wanted to visit Bahia Drake and chose Las Caletas Lodge for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden and laundry facilities available to the guests. The half board option offered at the lodge was fantastic, with a fusion of Costa-Rican and European cooking techniques. The meals provided were nutritious and delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the variety of dishes available for lunch, such as burritos, empanadas, spaghettis. Additionally, the option to request packed lunches was highly convenient for exploring the area.
The shared bathroom at Las Caletas Lodge was slightly more uncomfortable than anticipated. Additionally, we were asked to check out 30 minutes earlier than the stated time.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Las Caletas. This hidden paradise is a true gem in the South of Costa Rica. The boat trip to the hotel makes you feel like you're on a lost island adventure. The staff, especially Daniel and Brian, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The shared dinners were a great way to connect with other travelers. The "tents" were glamorously comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. Highly recommend this peaceful and beautiful lodge!
100% Recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location and views, with lush grounds and a private beach. Meals at the lodge were exceptional, rivaling a four-star restaurant. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even retrieving a lost wallet.
No air conditioning in the rooms, making it difficult to sleep in the hot and humid weather. Some maintenance issues in the cabins, which could use improvement.

The charming decoration of Las Caletas Lodge creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for senior people seeking relaxation. The general areas are well-maintained, providing comfortable spaces to enjoy the serene surroundings. I particularly loved the accessible design of the lodge, allowing seniors like me to navigate the premises with ease.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be clearer signage around the lodge. Sometimes it was a bit challenging to find our way around, especially for us seniors who rely on clear directions.
